The recent public consultation exercise on the pre-draft stage of the Local Transport Plan for Letterkenny concluded on Friday 16^th October 2020. Donegal County Council conducted the public consultation Survey to generate awareness and interest, and also to compile public opinion on the town’s transport systems. The survey returned a fantastic response with 532 respondents completing within the specified 3 week period.

The Community Development and Planning Services Directorate of Donegal County Council wishes to take this opportunity to acknowledge the tremendous response received to this survey, to thank all respondents and to advise that the surveys are now being analysed with a view to informing the shape and content of the Local Transport Plan.  The Council looks forward to continued public interest and participation during the remainder of the Plan making process.
